"THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN IS NOT A FACIAL MODE BUT THE TRUE BEAUTY IN A WOMAN IS REFLECTED IN HER SOUL."

What Are Parabens And Sulfates?

Are you all about natural skincare and makeup products? If not, would you ever hop onto this bandwagon? Many women aren't even aware of some compounds that are in our day to day items, yet they apply them heavily on top. If you want to know what are parabens & sulfates, as well as why they may be bad for you make sure you scroll through!

Parabens

Parabens are also known as preservatives. These work as anti-bacterial compounds which keep our products fresh & healthy.

However, parabens have been linked to breast cancer tumors. Although they haven't been proven to cause cancer, they are still present in the body. This compound has been around for 60 years, and you can easily find it in everything that you own. Parabens are present in some shampoos, toothpaste, makeup & deodorants. Some women are even allergic to them, while others will rather be ''safe than sorry'' and will always read the back label of what they're purchasing and avoid reaching for parabens.

Sulfates

You can find sulfates in most hair products and bleaching agents.

Many women can have severe sensitivity to sulfates, and you are even more likely to have sensitivity towards them if you are asthmatic.

Sulfate is also found in shampoos and it causes them to lather. Sulfates are made out of a sulfur atom, as well as some oxygen atoms and ion. All of these can strip away your natural oils and cause your hair to feel & look brittle, as well as dry. Sulfates haven't been linked with any cancerous researches and are lesser of two evils when compared to parabens.
