Best Haircuts Of 2019

If you are still thinking about making some changes in the new year, how about you make one with your hair? Experimenting, playing around with colors, extensions, and interesting haircuts should be on your go-to list, especially during the first half of the year. In 2019, I can see a lot of hairstyles coming back in fashion. If you want to know what those are and what might suit you the best just scroll down!

Long With Wispy Bangs

Who Should Get This Cut?

I usually encourage women who have long & healthy hair to spice up their look with some wispy bangs. No reason to cut it, if your hair is healthy and it is not prone to damage then you should enjoy and embrace these wispy bangs. They are minimal maintenance, and will look great no matter if you are 14 or 40!

Who Should Stay Away From This Cut?

I think that everyone can pull off this look, but I also believe that blondes with bleached highlights will look the best with this style. Also, make sure you are someone who doesn't mind revisiting the salon every 3 weeks or so since your bangs will demand a serious trim.

Layered Lob

Who Should Get This Cut?

This is the best go-to work hairstyle that you can go for, therefore I believe that workaholic women should get it. You can do a layered bob if your hair is thin & weak, but especially if it is thick and strong. I usually encourage my clients that are in their early forties to try this out. Also, layered bob is great if you wish to make your forehead appear smaller.

Who Should Stay Away From This Cut?

I don't advise younger women or even teens to experiment with this because the style is quite formal and upfront. Rather do something playful, and leave this to experienced women.

Long Pixie

Who Should Get This Cut?

Pixie cuts usually look very edgy and rock & roll, and I definitely think that they can make a huge statement. If you are someone who wants a drastic change and you are not afraid of attention-seeking looks you are going to love this long pixie. It is easy to style and will look the best on women who have thin hair.

Who Should Stay Away From This Cut?

If your hair is quite thick & coarse, curly, or if it tends to grow really fast then you might not enjoy re-cutting it every 2 weeks.

Blunt Bob/Lob

Who Should Get This Cut?

I love doing lobs on pretty much everyone! There is just something so chic, effortless, and definitely Hollywood Red Carpet like about them. Women who are in their mid 30's or who have just had a baby will love this hairstyle since it is so easy to achieve. You only need some texturizing spray and you are good to go!

Who Should Stay Away From This Cut?

No one. Lobs are really sexy, feminine, easy to achieve, and will look great no matter if you have ultra thin or super coarse hair.

Curtain Bangs

Who Should Get This Cut?

Curtain bangs are really trending at the moment and they are great if you want to focus all the attention on your face. Also, if you are not too sure whether full bangs are going to look good on you, you can start out with this style and then move forward. I've done this look a couple of dozen times on younger girls who were off to college, but also on mature women.

Who Should Stay Away From This Cut?

I wouldn't recommend it if you love to put your hair up in a ponytail or in a bun on a regular basis. Sometimes it can be a hassle to tame down the baby hairs, but especially curtain bangs.
